Baby book review: Where is the Green Sheep? by Mem Fox

Where is the Green Sheep book coverTilly’s review

This book is so great! There are lots of sheep and they are all doing different things and some of them are different colours. It’s a very good baby mystery book. Heaps of sheep doing things but the green one is missing! Has he been murdered? Is he on the run? I know the answer because Mummy has read this to me lots of times but I won’t spoil it for you.

Tilly reading Where is the Green Sheep 3

Another favourite in our house, and another book I have committed to memory. The rhyming text is a joy to read and the illustrations are bold, clear, and fun. I especially love the details in the page with ALL the sheep. A very fun book for bedtime. All of Mem Fox’s books are great, but for a baby under a year old (whose attention span isn’t quite long enough for Possum Magic), this is perfect in terms of length and colour.
