Tilly reviews Who Loves Books?

This is a very fun book! It looks like a book I already have and love, Hide and Sleep, and it has the same characters and everything. But this one is almost even better than Hide and Sleep because this one is all about books. There’s a line that squirrel says on almost every page, ‘A book for you!’ which Mummy kind of sings when she reads it and I like that. I sing it along with her sometimes. I want more books like this one, please.

Jen reviews Who Loves Books?

I was so excited when I found out Lizi Boyd had another flip-flap book out! Tilly and I both adored Hide and Sleep and this has the same vibrant and charming illustrations as the first book, along with the same cast of animal characters. And like Tilly said even better is that this one is all about books and reading. Squirrel is being the perfect furry librarian/bookseller and matching up books with his fellow animal readers, and at the end everyone is happily reading. This is one of my favourite books about books (and there are a LOT of those), and one of my favourite new books of 2020 so far.
